The Saxon Day Centre is a not for profit charity, operating under the charitable company Age Concern Orpington and District (Charity No. 1148958). Our costs are recovered from fees paid by our clients and charitable donations.

Like many businesses, whilst the centre was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, we had costs but very little income. We have taken advantage of the Government’s various schemes to keep us afloat and have applied for grants where possible. We are now open to clients but at a reduced capacity and are still incurring costs beyond our income. We therefore also rely on charitable donations.
