Now Recruiting…. Activity and Care Workers

• Do you have a passion for arts and crafts or activities?
• Experience of providing personal care for older adults including supporting or administration of medication
• Experience of working with people with dementia and other age-related medical conditions
• Previous experience essential (minimum of 2 years)
• Ideally applications should hold a care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care)
• Permanent (25 hours per week) and casual contracts available
• 20 days paid holidays and no bank holiday working
• Free meals while on duty
• Pension Scheme
• Free parking on site
• Full training will be provided
• Based on-site at our centre in Orpington, Kent (BR6 0TJ)
• £11.44 – £11.58 depending on experience
• No weekend or evening work

Volunteers

We often have a need for volunteer help within the centre. Further details on the role can be found here.

We are currently particularly looking for volunteer drivers to assist with transporting our clients to and from the centre in our own minibuses. If you would like to get involved and can spare 1½ hours at 9:00 am or 2:45 pm then please contact the centre for further information.

We are keen to welcome new Trustees, especially those with skills that will complement the management and operation of the Saxon Day Centre. If you would like further information on the role then please contact the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
